Mutare Polytechnic held its 35th graduation ceremony, where more than 3 000 students received diplomas and certificates to mark the completion of their studies.
The event was presided over by Deputy Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development Hon. Simelisizwe Sibanda. It ran under the theme: “Empowering Heritage‑Based Innovation and Rural Industrialisation for Inclusive National Transformation.”
Speaking at the function, the Deputy Minister noted that the institution’s focus aligns with national development priorities under NDS2 and Vision 2030. He urged the new graduates to use their technical skills to drive innovation, grow local industries and create jobs, especially in rural communities across Manicaland Province and beyond
