VISION

To become a vibrant Department working hand in glove with the construction industry to attain wholesome results.

MISSION STATEMENT

To provide Technical and Vocational (TVET) education in compliance with the industry, maintain high standards and produce a hardworking, committed, competent and responsible Artisan and Construction Technician who would make impact in the Construction Industry and the Society at large.


 

Courses on offer

  1. National Certificate in Brick and Block laying

  2. National Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery

  3. National Certificate in Plumbing and Drain Laying

  4. National Certificate in Painting and Decorating

  5. National Diploma in Construction Technology

  6. Higher National Diploma in Construction Engineering

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AT NATIONAL CERTIFICATE LEVEL

1. 5 Ordinary Levels including Mathematics, English and Science

2. A Technical subject or National foundation certificate with the above subjects will be an added advantage

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AT NATIONAL DIPLOMA LEVEL

1. 5 Ordinary Levels including Mathematics, English and Science

2. National certificate in any of the Construction Engineering trades

3. A clean class one Journeyman card in the related field

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AT HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA LEVEL

Results for National Diploma Course together with academic qualifications

1. Three years for full time students

2. One year for apprentices

3. Two years for part time students

National Diploma
